Preface: An acute perception

It was early on in my life that I discovered that things don't always make sense. In fact, when you get down to it, things rarely are as they seem on the surface. Without getting too deep, suffice it to say that I've had a unique perspective ever since I can remember.

I'm guessing this is the reason that people often find themselves sharing their own unique perspectives with me. I quite enjoy whittling down the reasons behind and why we do what we do, make the decisions we make, blindly subscribe to social expectations and fall in que with the everyone else, often without a thought to the matter or consideration of the purpose. In short, "that's just the way it is," isn't cutting it anymore as a viable reason to subscribe to anything.

I used to be quite embittered by all of this nonsense, until I made a distinct decision not to long ago to unsubscribe to the things that make no sense or just simply aren't suitable to me. One by one, the isims and issues that have much to do with our day-to-day existence and ultimate happiness, were closely examined and boiled down to "isim-residue," further examined, then put to the logic test.

For the last few months, it's been weighing on my mind that I aught to be writing these down, to what end, your guess is as good as mine, but here's what I plan to do; I will be briefly logging these personal observances here because this forum allows others to comment and I'm always interested in hearing what others have to say.

Having said all of that, "let the wild rumpus start."
